Năm nay nhiều nghệ sĩ cải lương nổi tiếng như NSND Bạch Tuyết, Trọng Phúc, Thanh Tuấn, NSƯT Võ Minh Lâm… tham gia biểu diễn và nhận được nhiều tràng vỗ tay của khán giả.

Trên bến dưới thuyền đã trở thành nét văn hóa tiêu biểu, đặc trưng của người dân TP.HCM. Trong đó, đêm diễn đờn ca tài tử là một hoạt động không thể thiếu tại chợ hoa xuân mỗi khi Tết đến xuân về.
Năm nay, với chủ đề Bay cao khát vọng rồng xanh, chương trình có 3 chương: Trên bến dưới thuyền, Ngọc sáng trời Nam, Khát vọng rồng xanh.
Các nghệ sĩ biểu diễn trên sân khấu, dưới thuyền, tạo nên một hình ảnh sống động.

Đặc biệt trong chương trình tiết mục: Đối thoại Đông – Tây, là màn song tấu đàn tranh và kèn saxophone do NSƯT Hải Phượng, nghệ sĩ Thanh Trung và dàn nhạc nghệ sĩ Đinh Quang Minh biểu diễn khá ấn tượng.
Tiết mục này như sự ẩn ý về sự năng động TP.HCM dung hòa giữa loại hình nghệ thuật truyền thống với bối cảnh hiện đại.
NSND Bạch Tuyết, sau khi trình diễn tiết mục Bá Lý Hề, đã phát biểu: “Tôi đứng ở đây xúc động. Cảm ơn những tấm lòng đã hình thành một đêm đờn ca tài tử tuyệt vời giữa TP.HCM”.
Chương trình nghệ thuật đặc sắc được dàn dựng công phu đã khai mạc chợ hoa xuân Trên bến dưới thuyền bến Bình Đông, quận 8, TP.HCM.
